Renee specializes in Greater Portland Maine real estate, representing buyers, sellers, investors, and developers. She is a REALTOR® with Legacy Properties Sotheby’s International Realty who has built her professional career through effective communication, unwavering client commitment, and by acting with honesty and integrity. Renee’s experience is international, but her knowledge is local.
Prior to entering the real estate profession, Renee founded and operated a successful Speech and Language Pathology practice in London, England. For twenty-two years Renee helped her individual clients and her clients’ families meet their objectives in a process that was often fraught with emotion and uncertainty. Renee helped her clients achieve success by developing deep, long-lasting relationships coupled with her background in science and data-analysis, and evidence-based decision making. Renee brings that same intelligence, patience, and analytical skill to real estate to advise her clients.
While Renee now resides entirely in Maine (after countless summer hiking and camping trips to Vacationland), she previously spent nineteen years living in London. She has also called New York (Upstate and Manhattan), Washington D.C., Hong Kong, and Italy home. Renee has experience purchasing and renovating properties in each of these distinct locations. After embarking on an extensive renovation of a home in the seaside community of Cape Elizabeth during a global pandemic, Renee feels uniquely qualified to assist clients considering their own potential renovation projects.
Renee and her husband, Jeff, live in Cape Elizabeth with their three children and Welsh Terrier. When not in the office or at a showing, you’ll likely see her cheering at Cape Elizabeth sporting events or walking the dog in Robinson’s Woods. Renee serves as a volunteer lacrosse coach in the Cape Elizabeth Girls Lacrosse Program, helps coordinate a local mentorship program pairing teenagers with young learners, and participates in school parent associations. Renee is a graduate of State University of New York at Geneseo and has her Master’s from Bowling Green State University. In her free time, Renee enjoys skiing Sugarloaf Mountain, surfing Higgins Beach, or rebuilding the original dry stone wall at her new home.
