Together, they set out to bring new life to a small home on a quiet lane in Georgetown. What began as a simple renovation evolved into a shared labor of love, blending high-efficiency systems with salvaged finds, handcrafted details, and a landscape gently shaped by joy and creativity.
Thoughtfully rebuilt from the ground up in 2020 and expanded in 2022, the original Cape now lives with clear intention and deep comfort.

Inside, light and warmth fill every room. The home offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a slate-floored living room with picture windows and a Morso wood stove, and a cozy studio connected to the main house, with its own vintage wood stove and glass doors that open onto the deck. A 15-foot handcrafted stone-and-plaster wall anchors the kitchen and dining area, and a hand-painted mural welcomes you at the entry.
Tucked into the tall stone wall in the dining room, a heart-shaped rock rests in the granite- a small, perfect symbol of the love and intention that shaped this home.
Every decision here reflects care and collaboration-from foam insulation and energy-efficient systems to native plantings, reclaimed materials, and beautifully restored architectural details.
