Legacy Properties Sotheby’s International Realty announces that New Hampshire listings increased 9.2 percent for single family homes and 19.4 percent for townhouse-condo properties. Pending Sales increased 13.9 percent for single family homes and 7.5 percent for townhouse-condo properties. Inventory increased 22.1 percent for single family homes and 18.1 percent for townhouse-condo properties.
The Median Sales Price was up 2.9 percent to $535,000 for single family homes but decreased 0.7 percent to $407,250 for townhouse-condo properties. Days on Market increased 22.7 percent for single family homes and 18.5 percent for townhouse-condo properties. Months Supply of Inventory increased 13.6 percent for single family homes and 9.5 percent for townhouse-condo properties.
Nationally, housing inventory declined for the first time this year, slipping 1.3% month over-month to 1.53 million units, representing a 4.6-month supply at the current sales pace, according to NAR. Despite the monthly drop, total inventory remained 11.7% higher than the same time last year. Meanwhile, the median existing-home price rose 2% year-over-year to $422,600, though it was essentially flat compared to the prior month.
