Nick has joined Colin Harvey’s team based in its Brunswick Office. Together, they are expanding a collaborative, team-based approach focused on delivering a higher level of service, market expertise, and coverage for clients across Maine’s luxury, waterfront, and new construction markets.
For Nick Maynard, real estate is deeply connected to the idea of home and the lifestyle that surrounds it. A lifelong Mainer, Nick grew up in Cumberland Foreside in an 1870s farmhouse originally built by his great-great-grandfather—an experience that instilled in him a lasting appreciation for the character, history, and craftsmanship found throughout Maine’s homes and coastal communities. His connection to the state extends beyond the coast, as his family built a camp in Rangeley in the 1990s, where he has spent time throughout his life. These experiences have shaped his appreciation for both Maine’s coastal lifestyle and the quiet beauty of its western mountains and rural landscapes.
Nick graduated from the University of Maine in Orono in 2017 with degrees in Finance and Accounting before earning his Certified Public Accountant designation in 2020. He spent five years working as a financial statement auditor, developing a strong foundation in financial analysis, investments, and strategic decision-making—skills that now help his clients confidently evaluate real estate opportunities.

His passion for real estate grew in 2021 when he and his wife, Kayla, purchased two small apartment buildings. That experience led Nick to launch his own short-term rental management company in 2023 and deepened his interest in helping others find second homes and investment properties that enhance both lifestyle and long-term value. Today, he focuses on coastal communities throughout Southern Maine.
Known for his loyalty, respect, and dedication to servicing his clients, Nick takes pride in building genuine relationships and always going the extra mile to guide clients through every step of the buying or selling process.
Nick lives in Saco with Kayla and their energetic Basenji, Luka. Outside of real estate, he enjoys golfing, spending time on the water along the Southern Maine coast and staying active in the gym.
