His early summers were shaped by long days in the blueberry fields, raking under the hot August sun, and working as a deckhand at the Kollegewidgwok Yacht Club, where he learned both seamanship and the value of community.
A lifelong sailor, Parker spent his youth racing sailboats from Southwest Harbor to Camden, gaining an intimate understanding of Maine’s rugged coastline and harbor towns. That love for the outdoors extends far beyond the water, he’s canoed three of the state’s legendary rivers, including the remote and beautiful Allagash, and is an avid skier who makes regular winter pilgrimages to Sugarloaf to enjoy Maine’s alpine terrain.
