Waldo and Knox Counties Show Increased Number of Home Sales and Higher Prices

Data from the Maine Real Estate Information System, Inc. shows that for the first three months of 2011 the number of single family homes sold in Knox County increased by 21.82% while the increase in Waldo County was 13.04%. Additionally, sales prices increased in Knox County by 28.21% and Waldo County by 10.11%.

This information is a great sign of a rebounding market and should be an indicator of further increasing sales as we progress into the warmer months.
